Joint Venture Leaf Tobacco Michailides & Maddi Lakshmaiah
•Our goal is the development and production of quality oriental tobacco in India
•The project is closely monitored by Michailides & ML agronomists
•Greek & Indian groups of 4 agronomists (2 per group) are supervising and monitoring the production in place during all stages of cultivation
•The Greek group is present in the production area on regular basis. It consists of: 2 agronomist, 1 leaf expert (for grading during purchasing), 2 leaf experts ( during processing)
•An Indian group is permanently stationed in Koppal, with all the necessary means to run the daily operations in the area
•The Indian team consists of: 2 agronomists (project manager & supervisor), 10 field assistants, 3 clerk employees, 2 drivers and 2 seasonal workers
